Dolphins Corner is an assisted living guesthouse in Pomona, Kempton Park, offering permanent live-in accommodation for elderly people and people with ailment conditions. The owners manage the home and live on the premises, on call 24 hours a day. According to the home's website, it provides 24 hour assistance and personal care, assists guests and their families through palliative and frail care, and gives each guest a panic button. Care workers help with feeding, medication, changing nappies, bathroom visits, wound treatments, and commode and wheelchair use. Guests get a three course breakfast, a full cooked lunch, snacks and a light meal at night. Rooms are furnished with a three-quarter bed, a closet, a bedside cupboard and a wall-mounted TV with a partial DSTV package. The home lists five twin rooms with a shared en-suite bathroom and four individual rooms that share three communal bathrooms, plus the 10 newer rooms. The home closed its function venue in 2021 to add 10 rooms that open onto the gardens, and it has a 60kva generator. Families may visit at any time, as there is no closing time.
