Groot Parys Lifestyle Estate is an over-50s lifestyle estate on a historic wine farm in Paarl. According to the home's website, more than 50 homes have been completed so far, and on completion the estate will have 172 full-title homes, 94 sectional title suites with assisted living options, and a Lifestyle and Care Centre. The homes are single-storey, with 2 or 3 bedrooms. The qualifying age is 49 or older, and a spouse or partner does not have to be that age. The estate has 24-hour manned security and access control. The sectional title suites are not yet built and are due to launch in October 2026; eight care beds are planned for a later stage, once the suites have been constructed, with no date given.
