Ramsgate Retirement Village is a life-right retirement village in Ramsgate on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, run by Hibiscus Retirement Villages. According to the village's website, it is the smallest of the group's villages and has 61 face brick cottages, each with a private garden. The cottages have one or two bedrooms and are sold on a Life Right basis. The village was built in 1989 by the town board and was acquired by Hibiscus Retirement Villages in 1995. It has its own community centre and clubhouse, a mini library, a gym and a pool room, and clubs such as Bible Study, Canasta, Rubber Bridge, Cribbage and Movie Day. Residents share the facilities of the Margate village a few kilometres away, and a courtesy bus travels between the villages daily. Ramsgate residents are served by the frail care and dementia care facilities at the Margate village.
